Audra Grigaliunas is a full-spectrum video expert, award-winning producer, director, and founder of MATYK Media.
Born to Lithuanian immigrants and raised outside Chicago, her name fittingly means storm in Lithuanian. One former colleague called her a paratrooper: “Drop her into any project—she’ll get it across the finish line.”
With decades of experience in broadcast and digital media, Audra has produced and led video strategies for organizations across industries — A few defining moments:
United Airlines, World Headquarters — learned how global brands communicate and how strategy fuels storytelling.
Creative Services for ABC and CBS affiliates — mastered fast-turn production and learned to think like a producer, not just a creator.
Los Angeles film life — absorbed the craft, culture, and discipline of the film industry.
KO-MAR Productions — lead creative across an A-list client roster, directing, producing, editing, and scripting projects that demanded vision and strong POV.
Senior Director of Video & Multimedia at Bankrate, Inc. — built two in-house studios and a team, scaled a national video platform organically, and proved how thoughtful video strategy can transform a brand’s reach.

Today, her work spans national sports organizations, financial firms, nonprofits, biotech institutes, and adventure brands. She’s a modern producer with a brand-builder’s brain and a documentarian heart — blending strategy and soul to create stories that move people and drive results. And she has sat in many living rooms, boardrooms, tents, and hangars, listening to people’s stories.
In 2016, Audra pulled together decades of experience and launched MATYK Media — a studio built to humanize brands in a digital-first world.
She and her team design strategy-driven, soul-first video content for mission-driven organizations, nonprofits, and visionary brands.
Her approach is grounded in three standards: think like entrepreneurs, lead with people, and deliver with excellence.

A graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Audra has been recognized by the Television Academy (Emmy Awards), the American Advertising Federation (ADDY® Awards), and industry-specific organizations.
She serves on the Marketing Committee for FilmFlorida, is a Leadership Palm Beach County graduate, and is an active member of Women in Film & Television.

I grew up surrounded by five acres of trees and spent much time in the woods, catching amphibians and not watching time. That sense of curiosity and wonder shows up in how I direct and tell stories. It’s about trust, truth, and the space between.

When I’m not producing, I’m probably traveling, chasing rocket launches, skiing, or showing my two boys the world.
I collect Lithuanian masks, look for street art, love good cheese, and shamelessly people watch… I love to wander and have good conversations. All of which inspires the work. -

I’m a foodie and probably as creative in the kitchen as I am in an edit suite. When there’s nothing in the fridge, my kids know me to whip up a gourmet meal out of nothing.

I have some documentaries and docuseries in the works. I’m excited to get into long-form again, which I had a taste of while living in LA. And my vision is always to better define adventure storytelling through the female lens — where empathy, depth, and grit meet strategy, beauty, and instinctive truth.
